Word to the wise .... Save the old nuts from the previous seat and use them in addition to the new ones. It's called double nutting (jam nut)and it helps to keep the first nut on from loosening.

Put the first one one, righty tighty, lefty loosey, then put the second one on tightly against the first one.

Sometimes they just can't leave well enough alone.

Just picture what you are turning as a clock face... clockwise tightens and counterclockwise loosens. There are exceptions, but they are rare and definitely will not be encountered on a toilet seat. (The exceptions usually have to do with motor driven things that might loosen themselves if the normal thread direction were used.)

Oh yeah, try dealing with the seat we have in the master bath. It's a smart bidet that Marc brought with him. I haven't worked up the nerve to try it yet, LOLOL

But it might be easier that trying to use my left hand, LMAO

ks I have to wonder. I can
tell a good seat from a cheap one from years of experience. A good one doesn't cost that much more for years of enjoyment. IMO.
