No question: IF amfe was serving up Prime Rib for $1/lb. they would get good reviews! Reviews, paid as they can be, mean little! Costs, revenues, loss/profit...FINANCIALS! Is low turnover rate a problem for amfe???? Who knows? A bunch of non-complimentary business segments an issue? Lots of issues AND amfe in $.singles....
LOL... Paid for? There are 10's of thousands of reviews and they include pictures, videos, etc... and you can click on reviewers names and see they are real people that live in the area and review other places as well.
All of the DD points to these places being packed/popular, which is why you cannot provide even ONE piece of supporting to DD to back those bogus claims... ZERO supporting DD, unlike the longs who ALWAYS support their claims...
Have you seen this...
Cards Against Humanity DD: AMFE is the "exclusive" distributor in Canada, including all sales through Amazon
Most people that buy at Amazon do not leave reviews and there are 33,000 of them and 5 stars for the USA site... and this does not include the Walmarts, hobby stores, etc that also move copies... EVERYONE that buys a copy in Canada stuffs money into AMFEs coffers, even if they buy from a competing big box store, hobby shop, etc...
... and there are expansion packs coming out all of the time, which many of these customer all jump on = more $$$
Snakes & Lattes has also secured exclusive distribution rights throughout Canada for Exploding Kittens LLC, which was one the single most successful game on the Kickstarter platform, and the third highest grossing venture in the platform's history. It has also secured exclusive distribution rights throughout Canada for Cards Against Humanity, which has quickly become one of the most popular party games to date. Further, Snakes & Lattes is in discussions to become the exclusive distributor for Watch Ya Mouth, a major release title of 2016. To facilitate the shipping and sales growth of these exclusive distributorships, inventory in the warehouse was recently increased to accommodate the demand. Snakes & Lattes has also set up a new partnership with FedEx in order to streamline logistical processes, improve efficiency and decrease costs, while increasing and improving reach to customers throughout Canada and the United States. _______________
(CNBC video) 'Exploding Kittens' Card Game Blows Up Into A Fortune | Strange Success
Snakes has locked down exclusivity for this game in Canada. It only did $50,000,000 in the 1st year, in the USA... Fun table games are ageless, unlike video games which are constantly being surpassed. It will be an AMFE cash cow for many years...
FYI, this was not even the best selling title that year...
The Gathering of Some of The Gathering of Friends – in Toronto!
Most of the big players in the sector know all about Snakes. They call us the "mothership" for a reason... Even Hasbro had a gaming night at Snakes, marketing their Avalon titles...
We get some people who come here because it’s a hip place to come, rather than because they’re actually interested in board games, and with people like that, our best weapon is the breadstick games. They’re simple, but they can get the most cantankerous or inattentive person involved with what’s happening at the table. Life is too short for games you don’t like. ++++++
Tassie, who has also worked as a game designer, has found that the job has a surprisingly romantic aspect: “We’re a super-hot first date place in the city, and we get a number of people who come back to us six months or a year later asking if they can propose to their girlfriends here.” ++++++ ________________________
Hajira & Sean | Snakes and Lattes Board Games Engagement
Frederik Gauthier's affinity for puzzles is well-established.
The Goat — as even Leafs coach Mike Babcock often refers to him — also loves to play board games. He's a regular at Snakes & Lattes, the Toronto hotspot for board game aficionados where it's possible to sip a coffee, down a beer or munch on a sandwich while playing Jenga or the game of Life. Gauthier's favourite board game isn't quite so mainstream. It's called Gangster and the objective, not surprisingly based on the title, is to compete with other gangsters for control of Chicago.
