Same experience concerning free trades and amiable commissions. They have also been helpful with margin requirements. I just can’t get used to the think or swim platform, it is a bit more complicated, to me, to get my saved screens set up to the windows I want to see and know how to use. Now they are just a trading platform to me, some of the in depth aspects of level II don’t appear to be there as was with Elite. But, with luck, Amarin will make it all mute, I need $61/share and I will never trade for myself again.

I've always used TDA and have had mostly great experiences with them - and the more accounts you have, with decently large amounts of money in them, the better the treatment becomes. Can't believe they're screwing with their web platform again - and the app you use I call "StinkorSwim" - cannot stand it, it's built for traders and options players, not regular investors - thank god for Ally Invest and the MedVed Trader app!

Edit: Geez - TDA's current web platform doesn't even provide L2 quotes or real time sales info? WTF? I never make buys w/o first watching L2 and real time sales data - have learned a lot just from observing that action over the years - for one, taught me to not chase stocks - for low volume stocks you can see how changing your bid or ask moves the price away by a penny.
