Just a suggestion Cherry Tree. Had NWBO done what Amarin did, and provided their sincere estimate timeline to topline one year in advance, despite Amarin still having to get thousands of people in for their last pre-lock clinic visit and despite Amarin still (having then) needing to adjudicate prior to data lock, then NWBO could focus on other things than investors wondering what is going on, and if something had come up to change Amarin's prediction (nothing came up) they could say, in a timely manner, hey look we predicted about nine months ago said date about three months from now, but for intervening reasons that is looking more like about 5 months from now. (note: Amarin actually met their expected timeline to topline) That is how normal companies deal with timelines. Might they take a price hit had they miscalculated? Possibly, but nothing like the chronic price hit this company takes with a completely anything goes timeline.

Maybe NWBO is close now, but at least we would have had a better sense of that, instead they get closer now and use the excuse it's too late to give a timeline, and yet we have no clue what their real sincere internal timeline to topline is. They have one. They just don't care to share it. Perhaps for the reasons you state. I don't think those reasons are good enough because it leads to a slippery slide continuum that is not healthy for the public (nor prospective patients) imho. We've literally watched not just months, but years pass with this slippery timeline continuum.

Agree with the setting the expectations and not deliver that is why they have been mum all along. It takes time to line up ducks, and these are not sitting ducks .......you line them up and the one starts walking around..............especially with duck watchers trying to feed them and entice them away.
