Accurate post, imo.

....you can't book the Industry Theatre on short notice so this was planned way in advance despite what Linda says

"ASCO is certainly a great venue and it's been great for us when the timing has worked out, to be able to, as we did last year we had just announced the first interim data from our phase III trial, three days before ASCO, that just happened to work out beautifully on the timing. "

They assembled the patient stories to be present and this take logistical planning months ahead.

So was 2017.

I would guess they are hoping for the best and planning for the worse Sojourner. In other words they will line up all their ducks so if the data is available they can disclose it . . . but they know from what has happened the past several years that it should be expected that unexpected difficulties and roadblocks can appear suddenly and unexpectedly so the worse thing they could do is set the expectation if will be provided and not deliver.
