Trump border wall construction to begin in El Paso

You're intentionally trying to mislead with this headline.

These repairs and replacements have been scheduled for years. Trump had nothing to do with it. He can't build one single foot of new fencing.

POTUS’ latest temper tantrum is not about border security. Like a spoiled two year old holding his breath, he is holding our nation hostage—trying to force taxpayers to foot the bill for his vanity project he promised Mexico would fund. Meanwhile, the country suffers.

A couple of U.S. Border Patrol agents ride near the construction site of the new border wall in Santa Teresa, N.M.

Guess they're singing a different tune now that the border patrol is suing the clown.

New lawsuit against unpaid work during shutdown includes border patrol officers

As “essential” federal workers continue working without pay—and with a paycheck due, but not coming, in the next couple of days—workers from a second union are suing. Last week, workers belonging to the American Federation of Government Employees filed suit alleging a violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act, echoing a successful lawsuit from the 2013 government shutdown. The named plaintiffs in that case were corrections officers. This time, the plaintiffs are—wait for it—Customs and Border Protection officers! Apparently they’re not all excited about the shutdown, no matter what Donald Trump tells you.
