If he doesn't have proof, then his tweet is illegal. NWBO is run by an attorney. The fact that LP does nothing about this feeds the speculation that it's true.

Although AF knows nothing about immunotherapies and their typical response kinetics (witness his comment about being able to see efficacy in a few weeks) he knows how to make his assertions sufficiently vague.
He says 'The FDA and the SEC know the trial has been unblinded and analyzed at least once, likely 2-3 times'

Well, so what?

The DMC has almost certainly seen unblinded data once.

Though his 'study was halted' bit, is just plain wrong.

What is the difference between saying something like this on Twitter or on an Investors Board?

As to feeding speculation. Yes of course; that is his intent.

Are you saying that you have been influenced by these particular remarks?

Nonsense. Unfortunately there is little that can be done directly without giving him immense more fame and attention, and they’d lose because of the first amendment. It would backfire.

No one in any of these suits amhas done more than bring attention to critics and make themselves look foolish. The company has already defeated a federal lawsuit with a long opinion indicating there is no evidence for his claims.

The end result is they likely pestered the SEC into a preliminary investigation that also, to me, appears to have gone nowhere. No Wells letter.

What exactly is illegal about it?

I don't see any advantage to NWBO going after idiots like AF. And seriously, anyone who bases their investment decisions on tweets deserves to lose their money.
