Let me just say easy guys.
I have been taking EPA for 5 years. I have been exercising regularly. I don't smoke (quit 5 years ago) and I seldom drink any alcohol. and I'm not overweight.
My main sin was that I ate anything I wanted when I wanted. and there is the rub.
as many of you know, two weeks ago I had an angiogram that showed one total occlusion (revascularized) and two 75% blockages. I was recommended for bypass surgery.
The rub is due to GBS my lungs are in no shape to endure a four hour procedure under general anesthesia. So I have elected to forego surgery.
So now, I've made a drastic change to my diet.
No meat.
No dairy.
No oils.
No sugar.
No nuts.
Leafy green vegetables only, little else.
Boring, not terribly appetizing, but may reverse some of the damage to my heart.
I love my V and believe it is helping me by capping my plaque, and I keep taking this one oil.
My point is Viagra is great, but you need to pay attention to your diet. Pills can't do everything.
Because of GBS I could not be on statins, but I am now considering Repatha (pcsk9 inhibitor) since I have heard at least one anecdotal story of complete plaque removal by one patient.
