Ok. So I didn't know the answer to this question I had so I looked ( googled) it up. Solar panels are powered by photons. I then googled if led light produced photons. Guess what they do... omg. Photons from an led light source. What? What? Wait? What? You mean I don't have to take my phone outside to charge it. The light in my office will do the same thing as the sun. What ? Wait? Is that true? Well google seems to think so. For arguement sake, let say that most light sources used produce photons, and " solar " panels take said photons and turn photons into electricity which then can be stored in a battery or used right away. Well problem solved, we can conveniently charge our phone in the comfort of an air conditioned room that even has the drapes drawn........ mind blown.......
