No I don't profit off of any research I post on the IHUB. I don't trade stocks long or short (never have).
I have been paid to do some research for the Promotion Stock Secrets site in the past but that was research posted for members only. It wasn't public research. A small fraction of those hundreds of research reports were later opened up for marketing purposes by the website but by that point the value was greatly dimished outside of serving as a reference for future research. And I've done some research for some private individuals but all of that research was fraud related and was used to file complaints with the regulators and so 99% of it never got posted on any public forums.
I make enough off my non-public research to pay for my lifestyle, but still have enough free time available to do more research on my own if I find myself motivated and interested enough in something to do so.
Yes some of the research takes time, but when you've been doing it as much and as often as I have you'd be surprised how efficient you get at compiling huge amounts of information. It helps to have tons of old notes/research to reference and a good memory.
