#130646 RE: Weby #130630

Hi guys,

Weby, you make a valid point regarding the time that has been spent already. I know that specs have been issued by the DoD for what the requirements will be for compliance and for interoperability and trusted security across multiple domains within their organizations. That would make great sense so they don't have to duplicate things on an enormous scale.

And you are correct with regard to the tipping point. I manufacture and sell a commodity, a product that is done on a bid basis and has no bearing upon electronic security or national security.

I do know that once the specs are written and then go through the process of looking at possible suppliers, then whittling down that field, then getting the bids, and then spending another year hung up in fourteen layers of beaurocrats for their two pennies worth of meaningless thought, which was 1.99 pennies too much, being bounced from desk to desk, then to different departments and then desk to desk there, that the calendar changes month after month pretty rapidly while in the meantime I have no firm orders, only the indication that it probably will happen in the near furure. Soon after that the near furure becomes the old future.
Trust me, I have been there and done that too many times.

I like my new system. I have the beaurocrats come to my place and I demonstrate the products and the specifications to them all at one time right where they are made so they can see, put their hands on it, use it, ask questions, get all their questions and comments resolved in a matter of two days.

But this is not the same with Wavx. This is unexplored new territory. Breaking new ground. Yes, the faces of the old security guard are the same, and they have brought along some newer ones in the form of SKS and company, which is really the core of either the success or failure of the over-all project and objective.

We think we have an extremely secure system that will function as has been described, and yes, that is why we do trials, but this is a HUGE testing that has no former point of reference or guidelines to look back on.
SO I think the timeline for actual hard firm purchase orders from the U.S. government will involve a longer time frame than probaly most here do.
That is okay, because I am not concerned about our products abilities or the leadership of SKS.

It is for those reasons that I think Barge is right about where the largest initial infusion of revenues will come from.

In the end, it does not matter. All it will do is give someone the opportunity to say "I told you so", and you know Barge would never do that, or myself, right? LOL!!!!!!

Please do not mistake my thoughts as being negative toward this small and fighting company. I believe the labor spent by all involved in the organixation, no matter our personal thoughts regarding the expenditures of monies, will be rewarded in the end.
I am simply as not as optimistic that the big time revenue machine is going to occur as soon as others, and when it does I believe it will be from the consumer side first, but not last.

My best to all you fine folks I have come to enjoy,
