Micro--Heck even S.Sprague said to expect "the emergence in 2006 of more consumer related opportunities." And he made that statement in the context of DELL, for crying out loud!
The TPM consumer play will NOT pre-announce itself to the market for obvious reasons that has been discussed ad-nauseum(ie mostly by yours truly!)
"And, my final question, regarding Dell, now as a consumer I receive a lot of product information from Dell where they solicit for me to buy a computer and since we are an active participant with Dell as far as selling our product, do we hope to see Dell making a more proactive approach to the consumer that this is available for the consumer to buy?
SKS: Let me answer the last question first. As it relates to the consumer side of the market I think we will see the emergence in 2006 of more consumer related opportunities. In general the way the PC industry works is, you provide solutions to the enterprise market first. As they move through the product line then the technology appears in consumer. In my opinion one of the things that will drive consumer penetration in the market is the appearance of a couple of mainstream services that you and I as a consumer could utilize. "
