I bought it when I first moved back here. It was part of Martha Stewart's cheapie line. That doesn't exist anymore. But I have to say the pan has served me well.

All-Clad is supposed to be a good brand. it was originally in the restaurant supply business. Thanks to the popularization of things culinary since the late 90s, home cooks began buying its products. I gather they used to be a lot cheaper than they are now.
