Microsoft has joined Facebook in saying it is investigating whether Russian operatives paid for “inappropriate” pro-Trump ads on its Bing search engine and other platforms. Social media giant Facebook has said a Russian company placed thousands of ads on their network at a cost of more than $100,000, including some that targeted states crucial to Trump’s victory. Last week, the U.S. Senate Intelligence Committee said it reached the conclusion that Russia interfered in the 2016 U.S. presidential election. More than 50 U.S. cities celebrated Indigenous Peoples’ Day Monday in place of the federal holiday honoring Christopher Columbus, the Italian explorer who massacred and enslaved Arawak indigenous people while opening the door to the European colonization of the Americas. In New York City, protesters rallied at a 115-year-old statue of Christopher Columbus near Central Park, calling for its removal and for the city to make the second Monday of each October Indigenous Peoples’ Day. The protest came as the New York Police Department ringed the statue in metal barricades and said it was providing round-the-clock surveillance of the monument. Son of Senate candidate Roy Moore arrested in Alabama - AP The son of Republican U.S. Senate candidate Roy Moore has been arrested in Alabama on a misdemeanor charge linked to allegations of illegal hunting. Etowah County Sheriff's spokeswoman Natalie Barton tells news outlets 27-year-old Caleb Moore surrendered Monday on a charge of third-degree criminal trespass. He was accused of hunting without permission and hunting over bait last year. Barton says Caleb Moore was released on $1,000 bond. Moore's campaign issued a statement calling the arrest a "cheap political trick." Caleb Moore was arrested on drug charges in 2015, but those were dropped after he entered a pre-trial diversion program. Roy Moore is facing Democrat Doug Jones in the special election for the U.S. Senate on Dec. 12. David Morrison is a real NASA scientist who studies real planets and makes real discoveries about the real universe.

Morrison laid out a detailed explanation, which he would repeat in years to come: There is no evidence that Nibiru exists; if it did exist, it would have screwed up the outer planets’ orbits long ago; and people have predicted its arrival before and been wrong.
Of course, logic didn’t work.
David Morrison's plea is the result of the victims of paranoia, distrust of the scientific expertise of the science culture, and a plaintive letter from a scared 12-y old girl.
