Yeah, Larry. $0.50 - 1.50 per board, one board possibly involved, possibly not. Possibly $1M or so/qtr., possibly nothing. I'd rather go to Vegas.

Larry

lot we could discuss but to your point. Wave is offering something no one has and Intel has agreed to pay them a royalty whenever they bundle the software with their mobo. No minimum and no maximum. You are right they don't have to use wave's product. Of course that would mean for now that they wouldn't be bundling trusted applications and services with their product. That was the purpose of the agreement. And wave's real revenue comes from the servicing of the applications (theirs and importantly others) within the enteprise space.

Larry, Intel won't use Wave's chip. They will use TPMs from other vendors(Infineon, ATML, NSM). They will use Wave's software. Hope that clears it up.

Use of Wave's chip will be in Embassy hardware deployments targeted at Gov't, etc.. Those were the other deals he was speaking of. Even in that case, wave does not intend to stay in the chip business, they would rather that others built the chips, and they just get a royalty on the design.

Larry Dudash....You wrote...

"...INTC doesn't even have to use WAVX chips..."

IMO, the post of yours screams your ignorance with respect to Wave. Remember, ignorance can be corrected, stupidity is another thing. I don't think that you're stupid.

Wave is NOT a chip company. Yes, they developed a chip, but they are not in the chip building business. They have "ported" their stuff to the "vanilla" TPMs. At least this is how I understand it. If I'm being ignorant, I'm sure someone will correct me.

Hope this helps,
