revlis, I thought he should have looked at the potential (possibility and probability) of signing new licenses (including Samsung) in light of the ICC's decision. ICC strongly vouched IDCC's stand (that is an excellent bargaining chip for IDCC in all settlement talks) and IMHO Samsung isn't going to act like NOK in this case. NOK took the stand that they don't owe anything whereas Samsung (as per the IDCC's 10K or 10Q) atleast said that they will settle the matter based on what ICC says. This stand by Samsung tells me that they will negotiate this with an intention to settle (as opposed to NOK which was more adamant in negotiations). Let's see how this pans out.
