As an FYI I gave up drinking for Lent

I remember now, you identify more with the Irish heritage and “don’t” drink with/for deceased brothers at the bar during lent ;)

Sorry but I didn't follow the mixed metaphor.

Happens to the best* of us (*pls refer back to post 54334 ;)

Bless their little hearts. They poured their life savings into a POS penny stock only to find out that they got screwed by the CEO of the company.

Sometimes, it’s a fail as opposed to a fraud

Any similarities between penny stock investors and Trump voters is strictly coincidental.

All persons fictitious disclaimer

According to the admins, it's only slander, libel or defamation if it goes to court and a judge rules it so. Otherwise, they are allowed to creative freedom to write whatever fiction they can dream up for the day.

Trump supporters, Republican senators, ihub bashers, JS, anyone really; zealous for what they believe to be a cause worth fighting for will have that day when they see clearly if it was in fact worth it - the final judge so to speak [one man's freedom fighter is another's terrorist?] (not withstanding a real judge, SEC edict, someone smarter than them, Mom, etc,.. ;).

I really don't think it is. It doesn't apply to all penny players or all Trump voters, but when it does, the psychology is identical. They bought into unrealistic promises, ignored unpleasant facts, acted against their own interests, and will support their president/CEO to the end.
