Doesn't Jeter do all of the above?
I am not saying that Jeter is the best player in baseball and because I do not follow Pujols enough, I will not say that he is also.
Yesterday on Fox, one of the announcers said that A-rod is the best player in baseball. Based on his performance lately, I would argue that, wouldn't you?
I guess it's all subjective.
If I had to choose, I don't know who I would pick as the best player in baseball because I am not as much of an expert on the sport as most here. I pretty much only follow the Yankees and the teams they play.
BTW......Jeter just made another awesome play but in the record books it will just go down as an assist.
