Furthermore in the last 3 year averages here are the numbers. The last 3 year for some reason doesn't include this year numbers for some reason. But if anything Pujols is actually having a better year this year.

Pujols VS. JETER (3 year average 2003-2005)

BA: Pujols 340 VS Jeter 307
HR: Pujols 43 VS Jeter 17
RBIS: Pujols 121 VS Jeter 67
RUNS: Pujols 133 VS Jeter 107
Hits: Pujols 201 VS Jeter 182

Yikes, shouldn't jeter as least win runs scored over the last three year averages, I mean he is a number 2 hitter right. How about hits, what about batting average. The fact that this is up for discussion is laughable. I mean I would throw this arguement out if he won one statistical category, all I ask for is 1 of the top 5 above, and he couldn't do it. A 2 hitter should scored more runs then a 3 or 4 hitter if he doesn't, and he loses all other statistical categories above, you can't hide behind the fact that is he is a 2 hitter, he just simply is not as good.

I got the excuse 26 is going to give me it is not all about #'s. True Jeter's 3 year averages have less hits, hr, rbis, runs scored, and a lower batting average. But He is Jeter and he is on the Yankees so he has to be the best. LOL.
