"Organic" is huge here on the "Left Coast", California. Every supermarket has an organic section for produce. Some have sections dedicated to only organic wines. Bellissima will be GIGANTIC here. Can't wait til it arrives.

Thanks for a thoughtful and knowledgeable post. I strongly agree that the $19.99 price point might not be sustainable. The Brinkley cachet and bottle design might be sufficient to generate an initial purchase and perhaps a second one, but Prosecco drinkers are not renown for the sophistication of their palates. If they can purchase three bottles of Ruffino/La Marca for the price of two Bellissima, that is the route they will eventually go.

ShadowElite, well, very informative post. We are lucky to have someone of your background among us. I prefer homemade strawberry wine personally, but it is very touchy to get it right. But was just wondering what the general consensus of our Bellissima taste was-thanks again.

Organic, here in Colorado, is a very big selling point. we tend to be ahead of the majority of this country in many fronts, a major one being the general increase in awareness about healthy eating. Many people realize that ingesting even very small quantities of these chemicals that are used to kill bugs, etc., is not a good thing for our bodies. anyway, I know MANY people here that are happy to pay extra for organic.
