zeev hed, r: rmbs

Yes, you are correct!

I was talking about rmbs not too long ago. However, wavoids are laser-point focused upon...wave! You can't blame them for that. We have slogged through the slog marshes, all the while the bashers whipping us with cold leather straps.

We have emerged.

RMBS is a very interesting story due to the patent issues that arose in the standards group. Wave, too, has been involved with standards groups setting the stage for the TPM and infrastructure. Fortunately the IP was handled differently than rmbs so I don't see a case in the future.

BTW, depending on rambus long-term strategy, we may very well see them license wave IP. Better yet, we might see a cross-license!

Zeev, I'm not sure what the parallels are between Wave and Rambus other than the Intel connection. They have entirely diffent products. Secondly, Wave's deals with the Intels, IBM's, NSM's and others are for Wave's basic services.

Wave's premium services will come into play when PC's with TPM's are sold to enterprises. This is where the real revenues will come from. The hardware companies are very important to Wave, and it's becoming clear that they are all lining up, however, I believe the bulk of Wave's revenues will come from enterprises/governments that subscribe to Wave's services.
