I'd love to see this. Dave and I were discussing having Community Cops to help out.

As Bob was mentioning, iHub now gets as many public posts as SI did in its 1999 heyday. Dave and I get bombarded all day long. Would be really helpful to get some extra eyes in here with the ability to nail spammers, jail for 24 hrs, remove posts anywhere, review TOU violations.....all on a limited basis, of course -- no viewing of personal/IP information.

I absolutely love that idea,

But would add this thought.

If a moderator bans a poster that should not have been banned,

the moderator would be eliminated as a moderator on any and all boards.

I am strictly talking about the freebie/stock boards.

Not the premium boards.
