I think it'll be interesting. Last July, I spoke to the producer, Scott Anderson, and provided some background. They'd interviewed Dan and Carol extensively, and I believe were trying to talk to other Canadian players like Tony Papa as well. Far as I know, nobody succeeded in locating Eric Van Nguyen, much less Babs.
As you say, part of the story will be about why some of the Canadians involved in big, and often successive, pump and dump operations were charged, and others--like Eric--were not. Or at least haven't been so far: where confidential informants are concerned, these things can go on for years as the net widens.
They definitely wanted to talk to the people at the AMF about it. I don't know how far they got with that. I'm sure the AMF could always mutter something about "open cases" and brush them off.
