There are so many drugs out there being investigated that it becomes inconceivable to do combination trials with every possible combination. There would not be enough patients to do this on. And it would be too costly. So it becomes important to figure out in advance which combination trials have most promise. Pseudo progression is an issue. Some patients might be dropping out of trials who may have actually had opportunity to see a benefit. Patients are living longer is great. Trials are taking longer. Early indicators of effectiveness need to be studied. Biomarkers play an important role.
Correct and also as Mav rightfully states we have potentially three combo deals. This {including any potential upfront payments}. This in itself is a very clear example of the potential to turn around the pps and very quickly. I as with many other longs do not believe in any notion of DCVax being a 'scam' nor do I believe that Linda and Les are not telling the truth. We know from recent statements money has been raised/spent on the preparation of phase 2 trials and therefore, as we are nearing completion of phase 3 hopefully we are nearing announcement of combination trials. I cannot wait.. and I am not talking about my investment in this instance.
