I feel the same way and wondered why IDCC needs their patents?

Now I wonder why IDCC took patents as payments versus cash and have a thought maybe these patents that IDCC got might assist in their licensing program ?

I'm not sure but is it possible Huawei gave these patents to IDCC and they don't have to pay to use but others do?

That might help IDCC???
