My question is . . . so what?
As we know no contracts were signed at that time. Negotiations were ongoing and either side could have walked away from the table at any time without liablilty. It is apparent that Huff/management and GTE's BOD chose to both accept and continue those negotiations.
So, what do we have? The plain FACT that Huff and Co. willingly accepted responsibility for the continuation of negotiations.
There is no way that any excuse is justifiable to attempt to place responsibility anywhere else than with Huff/management, BOD and their supposedly internationally renouned legal team.
There are three things that we need from our management
ACCOUNTABILITY
RESPONSIBILITY
PERFORMANCE
So far they have not delivered on any of these and we, as shareholders, are the ones to suffer.
