Thanks Josh! Daily vs weekly is a big deal especially compliance is important to suppress viral load. Didn't know Gilead is trying too develop a similar drug....

Agree with "One drug administered weekly does not have the same financial benefit to a company like Gilead. Gilead will not want the standard of care to be replaced with something cheaper and easier"

Successful Pro-140 monotherapy will kill Gild revenue stream - they can either try to kill the product or buy it before other competitors.

The Jun presentation will be the big event to show the results to all. That will be right moment for deal.

I understand what you're saying about GILD and SOC, but I woukd rather own the IP and do as I want. Bury it with the Arc from Indiana Jones. But as you say there are many competitors in the HIV anti viral space that would love to buy out CYDY and spend millions to try to make it the SOC. As your DD has shown other than the many side effects of the pill regimen non compliance from patients is a major reason why VL is so high in these patients prescribed these regimines. Many HIV patients also suffer from comorbility. Type 2 diabetes being a common ailment among many former IV drug users and homeless population. The one thing I have learned from that patient population is that although they may not take their oral meds, if insulin dependent, they usually take their insulin like clockwork. The SQ route of PRO 140 woukd be ideal for most patients with HIV. I see a BO if things go well with the trial but I also can see the BP company who buys the rights to this treatment breaking their hump to take out the competition and grab most of the market share. So why not GILD? They have 5-10B just laying under the CEO's mattress for times like these.
Thanks for the DD on CYDY. I look forward to seeing this turn into a MULTI BAGGER.
You're due for a monster hit especially since the sector looks to have turned for now. I would love to see the likes of the Baker Bros or a Carl Ichan taking a 9% stake.
Best wishes to all!

This is the exact issue which has concerned me from the start. I have a decent long position, but I can't help wondering why Gilead hasn't tried to buy the company now rather than after phase 3 when it will cost A LOT more. I would think Gilead would want to buy cheap and sunset PRO140 to protect their revenues from HAART. Makes me wonder if Gilead has better info than we do, i.e. perhaps doesn't expect the FDA to approve for whatever reason. Any thoughts?
