Companies doing corporate actions also pay fees to FINRA for processing them. Only $200 if the notice is timely, but up to $5000 if it's late. Since many pennies are pretty much broke, perhaps at least some will be thinking twice now that an additional $1000 is required.

I just noticed for the first time that a penny company can apparently request symbol deletion. One so wishes more of them would.

I wonder if this applies to pending changes as well? I can think of a few tickers that are awaiting actions that have not been processed yet due to "questions".
