MON—Their quarterly sales have drastically declined compared to their 2015 and 2014 results and now sit at a level they exceeded 4 years ago.

MON’s quarterly year-over-year comparisons are tricky because the business is so strongly seasonal. The first and fourth fiscal quarters are especially difficult for year-over-year comparisons because both are low-sales periods where most of the business comes from South America.

Looking at entire fiscal years (Sep1 to Aug 31) gives a better picture.
