The Rising Influence of Rising Affluence

I learned that the phrase was to make something beautiful or attractive out of something ugly.

I was not referring to their products but to their financials. Their headline stated that they beat their recent projections so everything is great.

The fact is simple. Their quarterly sales have drastically declined compared to their 2015 and 2014 results and now sit at a level they exceeded 4 years ago. This isn't progress.

They aren't cutting costs, they are right sizing their workforce.
