Who knows. It makes no sense what AMRN is doing. The only explanation I can come up with, which I have brought up before, is that AMRN is trying to play nice with the FDA since AMRN still needs the FDA at a later date. By making the FDA think "they won" this, then AMRN could accumulate some goodwill for the future. If REDUCE-IT is successful, a friendly FDA is going to be needed to get approval.
That is the only thing that makes any freaking sense. I brought up before that AMRN management CANNOT negotiate. I was attacked of course, but I stand by that. I still don't believe management is very effective at anything involving a negotiation or taking actions that benefit shareholders.
