This is the most thorough examination of current anti infective options that I have seen. If one takes the time to read it, our entire platform shines! This is an intellectual technical paper that may discourage some from reading it. But, it points out that CTIX's Brilacidin and analogues of the entire acquired Polymedic research platform have great potential in many hard-to-treat infective diseases, including bacterial, malaria, viral, fungal, et. al. For those who tire of reading the constant harping against our product line, this provides an encouraging perspective...and a timely read given Dr. Menon's scheduled presentation next week at the International antibiotic conference. Thanks again SLCIMMUNO!

Nice review article. It is a reminder of Brilacidin's success in the clinical trials and the possible multiple indications for CTIX's defensin mimetic HDPs.

It also underscores the importance of CTIX's future pipeline of defensin mimetics. Preclinical studies have shown activity against Gram neg bacteria including multiple drug resistant Klebsiella, Canida albicans, drug resistant TB and malaria.

Great ABX overview -- Cellceutix / Brilacidin even gets a mention (see Table 10)... DeGrado et al, prior PYMX research, also cited.

IMO We have a silver/gold/platinum mine in our Defensin-Mimetics platform. And Kevetrin just might prove to be Cancer's Kryptonite.

I'm blinded by the science's potential in a good way.

I wish it got more than just a mention! "Membrane-active Small Molecule Designs Inspired by Antimicrobial Peptides" is the literal description of Cellceutix's HDP-M platform. Any other companies mentioned that are in clinicals? Thanks for spotting this.

Thanks for posting your research. It's been very helpful. ;) Going back over your Cellceutix postings would be a good read for anyone. http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/memberpoststoboard.aspx?userid=346090&boardid=12580
