AMRN pps is NOT undervalued. this company has (negative) equity. Do you know what that means? this company isn't worth anything really. Until their assets exceed their liabilities....so ridiculous that you would think that...

BioC-

I believe Amarin shares at the moment are under valued!

Agree. The rest is BS.

To make it easy to understand: If a potential buyer will value the company for $50 PPS (and to avoid any doubt this is for simplicity only, none of a buyer will value the company as PPS, they will value the Market Value (Cap), they won't care the PPS) they will offer $50, INDEPENDENTLY from the actual PPS (@$4 and @$40 also).

Private company shares can be sold/purchases internally and have value based on the value of the corporation, in this case the offer better be higher than the share price.

Could you tell me what is the share price of a private / not listed company? ... As you write, the company value is based on VALUATION.

Well if the PPS climbs to $40 after reduce-It and we get an offer for $50 should we sell, I say no!

Because the company worth is ... if the PPS climbs to $40 after reduce-It and we get an offer for $50 it will mean that the market assumption will be near to "real" (BO) value.

Best,

Seriously? I'd take that $50/shr and never look back! One thing I do agree with is that if the pps is < $5 prior to R-IT there's no chance it gets to $40, at least not quickly - it might go up that high over time as long as a BO doesn't come right away, and AMRN is raking in profits, so the potential of V sales is turned into reality and the value of the franchise is relatively known instead of requiring a lot of guesswork on the part of the buyer.
