Okay, so is anyone excited about having quintuplets :-) Thought you would enjoy this Doc!

Cab. I know, as do you, one of the things management is supposed to accomplish at an annual SHM is boost investor confidence. Normally, Directors are there as kinda like the Supreme Court....non commital, supportive of management, and act the part as the ultimate conservative backstop for over-exhuberance by management.

Au Contraire today.

Dumas is a true believer that this is going to be a big big corporation...I mean VERY big! And he was quite calm about the emphaticism of his pronouncements to me.

Like it's a foregone conclusion...dead on done.

PS...Dang...keep remembering stuff. Dumas also said to me as we were leaving, he lamented having to cut off the questions being asked, as time was running out (meeting lasted 2:45 hours). Wished he had insisted on another hour or two to let it go on, as he said "There are so many exciting things going on with each of these divisions the discussion could go on for hours." I agreed.

Successful deployment of a major metropolitan area(s) will cause purported Russian type deals to become reality in those respective countries. The Wireless division will build out rapidly from there. That is why Dumas believes they are more important than the strat, at least near term. It's been said that this division has the best chance for SIGNIFICANT near term profitability. He and others on the board are world class deal makers. This will be their contribution and why they are here. This will be another hallmark to add to their list of accomplishments. Dumas and others stand to potentially make hundreds of millions if they pull this off. We need thier brush stroke, otherwise it could be another great technology lost to the bone yard. I will keep adding.

Based on 15 years experience in some different companies (industry) I can define the following:

A short term plan is for a period of 1-2 years max.

a medium term plan is from 3 to 5 years.

Above 5 years it is normally a long term plan.

It is rasonable to think GTE will be multi-billion dollar enterprise within year 2008.

I feel it is really positive.

P.S.: hoping Mr. Dumas was giving the correct weight to his words and hoping my definition of short term is confirmed by GTE.
