Mickey, Intel and others have had a good look at IDCC patents and apparently concluded that they are either not valid or easy enough to infringe upon and fight against IDCC for years. Are you incapable of recognizing that there is a reason Interdigital was unable to sell the company a few years ago. Management apparently has overrated their IP. JMO
Mickey: East Texas is not a rocket docket and statistically patents owners lose as many cases as they win. Either way from filing of suit to final appealable judgement is about 3 -4 + years.
East Texas is also the target of Congress in trying to screw small patent holders and stop the filing of patent cases seeking verdicts by what the Troll haters term plaintiff friendly juries. Isn't it funny that the right to a jury trial guaranteed by the Constitution is under attack by Congress because manufacturers can't trust country people to be fair and impartial.
