There were also 3000+ "leftover" boules. Not to be confused with the defective boules that went up for auction (Approximately 100,000kgs divided by the educated guess of 165kgs each=600 boules(defective for auction to be used as scrap)).

So, 3000+ leftovers leaves one to wonder how many weren't "leftover".

Ridiculous to think GTAT is / has been producing boules still for Apple.

What about all their fabrication equipment being auctioned in a few weeks, conventionally sold, and sold through the auction last month. Not to mention a total loss to the inspection equipment from the May Fire.

All the DD available points to a complete wind down of sapphire materials production. Anything else is just connecting dots that are not even there.

It's not just the court docs or GTATs situation as a whole. MANY China/TW sapphire firms have announced big spending this year (just last month we got a few announcements about huge investments into sapphire production plants) in order to ramp up sapphire materials production. Sapphire is ramping up, no WAY will it be ready to supply the demand for an iPhone right now
