SEC doesn't do anything

You can send them a complete file showing 100% proof of securities manipulation and they will do nothing. They don't have enough people. They prefer to go after companies with money. They will only go after individual pump and dumpers if they are part of another investigation. They will go after stock promoter companies first, such as westergaard and cce, as they do more damage and have funds.

I believe the only real way to get any action is to sue them in court. Of course it takes money to sue them and if they don't have much, what's the point. I believe as the fool.com website states, the next best thing is to tell everyone about it on message boards. That's what we're doing. I will do my dd and go to a scam board and post my research and debate with the stock promoter/pump and dumper.

here's a great article about what to do if you see scams.

Here's the best part, matt. coolbreeze is doing his civil duty by pointing out fraud. Personally if I was the woman about to get raped by your hypothetical rapist, I would want coolbreeze yelling and telling me about the guy about to rape me. I wouldn't want cool in a phone booth calling the SEC ;-)

"While the Internet is a quick, easy, and efficient way for fraudsters to target investors, the Internet is an equally effective way for aggrieved investors to seek justice. One of the most impressive characteristics about the Internet is the "vigilante" attitude toward securities fraud. For the most part, people want to keep the cyber-streets free of crime and set up their own "neighborhood watch" programs. There are websites, newsgroups, chatrooms, and bulletin boards devoted to exposing securities fraud. Visit these websites, send e-mails, post on message boards, and discuss the problem in chatrooms. Organize campaigns among defrauded investors and complain en masse. The more people that complain, the more the problem gets noticed, and that's what you want.

Just say NO to stock fraud

Your point is well taken about getting the police involved. I notified the SEC with detailed information. To date, they have not taken action. This does not mean they won't! I suspect, just as with EVERY investigation they will build their own file and compile their own information along with what other's have sent them before they make any moves.

Don't take their inaction as a sign of NO action!!!! I have never seen the SEC move with lightening speed on this type of thing. Now, if it were as serious as say, IVEH, yes I would expect immediate action.

Don't jump to conclusions about what I have or have not already done!

Hi Matt,

I'm new to posting on these boards and just wanted to say that was a great post! What the guy needs to do is get a video camera.... translated to stock boards, it means posting proof... not just making wild accussations without any backup. Using the SEC complaint form is a good idea, it may seem the wheels of justice turn slowly, but they turn.
