Hi Steve,
I've caught them making two mistakes.
The fist one was a laffer. I openedone of our accounts one morning and discovered that my net worth had increased by about $238,000.00 I had acquired several new Mutual Funds and some of stock holdings had increased in size by substantial amounts over-nite. They had mistakenly transferred someone's accout into mine. What surprised me was that it took them almost two weeks to undo it.
The second occasion was just a week or so ago.
I have my dividends reinvested with TMA. They misplaced a decimal point and instead of getting 12 shares I received 120. When I checked my Florida friend's account she received 200 shares instead of 20. This was a little more serious. I thought momentarily that if it wasn't mentioned they might never catch it. However I remember my daddy tellin me that I would also be better off if I was truthful so I called them and informed them that they had given everyone who reinvested TMA dividends ten times more than they should have. All I got was a thankyou, but I don't have any trouble sleeping at night.
Things are sure going great today. I'm up about 2% at this point in time (8:33 MDT).
