Isn't it great when you can squeek a few extra pennies? Congrats.

I agree re Waterhouse. I have used them exclusively since I started AIM-ing and have had only 1 problem which they immediately corrected. I had noticed that a stock moved passed my GTC limit order and the order did not trip. I emailed them and by the end of the day they executed the order at a few pennies better than my original. They also did not charge commission on it.

Speaking of commissions, once your activity gets past a certain # of trades per rolling quarter, you automatically 'graduate' to premier status. Commissions for me are $9.95 (even on limit orders). Can't really argue with that. I didn't think the $12.95 was too high either.

I also like the fact that they have local offices. I have worked with the same rep there since 2000. He never gets in your face, never initiates contact, but is always there when I need him. I like that a lot.

Anyway FWIW.

Looks like a good day today. I'm likely to trip one or two of those GTC's.
