Anyways, I tried to find some info on an update late this September and here is what I got:
- Emailed Kowa....no response.
- Emailed the author of the study....no response.
- Emailed Amarin IR and got the following reply. "Good morning and thanks for your question. The study you are referencing is not an Amarin study and as such, we cannot comment."
Question: If results come back positive, can the Kowa sales rep discuss the study results with doctors prescribing Livalo? Reading JL's earlier post #37721, it appears they could. I can't imagine any doctor not wanting to add Vascepa (at least 2g dose)with their Livalo script if it shows a reduction in coronary plaque similar to the above study from 2011.
