I also have zero interest in iWatches or their Android competitors.

I don't need a silly watch to lecture me about walking more, climbing more stairs, drinking less alcohol, whatever.

(I do like the Casio titanium Eco-Drive watch I've worn for several years without issue. It's accurate, it's waterproof (to the point that I never take it off), it needs no rewinding, it's lightweight (titanium), and it has a diver dial I often use to time simple things (like how long a pot has been on the stove).

I won't pay spit for Apple's effort. Which is apparently not even waterproof. An utter killer for a watch intended for everyday and sports usage.

But it adds to their "contra revenue," for lawyers interested in such silliness.

Until these wearable smart devices do something transformative, they will be a curiosity, and nothing more.


Google glass & descendants.
