I think it's quite possible that the town had no idea of the infrastructure required to build a grow facility. They permitted them for a barn and a fence because that's what was applied for.

It could also be possible that Cen failed to mention that there was a little more to the project than just a storage barn. If they submitted full plans for their 3 story facility back in November, I think the town would have been singing a different tune. We also all know that "misrepresentation" is Bill's M.O.

I agree that the lawyers are going to have to sort it all out now.

The funny part in all of this is Cen still doesn't have a license, so a drawn out court battle could be all for naught.

Rolphtonair, Thanks for the post. You have posted a lot of useful information but the zoning thing wasn't one of them, but it was not your fault. Many people where thinking in the same lines you where. I kept trying to tell you =) but its good, and that it is all cleared up now. "zoning issue" can finally be put to rest on this board... finally.

Now we can have some useful discussions.. like how messed up this lakeshore council is... they are obviously in "getting re-elected" mode. flip flopping on everything. never a good look to tell the media one thing but do something else behind the scenes. should be interesting how this works out.
