Cotton, why you are looking at the 6.9B rather than the 1.7B that was reserved?

Absolutely nothing nothing to do with the CTs. You can't take words out of context such as "securities", "securities transaction", "guarantee", "JPMorgan", "Lehman", etc, and just because those words also show up in the CT prospectus, insert yourself as a CT holder in every situation that mentions them thinking you are going to get paid.

Your DD on the POR distributions was flawed, you DD here is too.
As JPM itself said;

Cotton,

Regarding the summary judgement desired by JPM,
I understand that Official Committee of Unsecured Claims of LBHI has been representing this case whole time so if it wins, all proceed from the 8.6B reserve will be used to pay classes 3-9 unsecured claims, as we have seen in the 6th distribution notice.

One thing I am curious to know is following:

"JPMorgan purported to apply its newly-minted fund against a host of bankruptcy claims (most notably the derivatives and clearing claims)"
---from the letter of Official Committee of Unsecured Claims of LBHI in response to JPM's pursuit of Summary judgement----

JPM intends to use 2.3B (out of 8.6B) to satisfy derivative claims &
several billions to satisfy CLEARING CLAIMS.

Questions to you are:
1. What is clearing claims?
2. Is our CTs a part of the clearing claims?

If it does, JPM should definitely win the case. Otherwise, CTs get nothing out of this and all the money goes to satisfy creditors in classes 3-9.

Please understand that I also understand that the wording in the above excerpt leaves a room for for claims other than the deriv. & clearing claims.

Thanks in advance.

BTW thanks a bunch for your effort and it looked nice to see your doc in the filings list in the court.
