#29617 RE: jmspaesq #29615

jmspaeq, I have read every message on this board since its inception, and I know who has said what.

Now instead of changing the subject, let's just look at your reply to me:

"FYI: I was baiting them..." Why? To start an argument? First you deny that you are causing trouble, then you admit that you are trying to find an argument by "baiting" certain people with provacative statements designed to get a less-than-friendly response, then you say it is all the fault of the "YES" camp? I mean, first of all I thought there were only three camps here -- LONGS, SHORTS and those with NO POSITION. We have enough trouble without you and others looking to beat up on fellow LONGS.

"But what the folks behind the PR did was sneaky manipulative underhanded misleading ... I wasn't 'attacking' anyone. Anonymous people can't be 'attacked.'" No they can't, but since you and others have attributed at least partial credit to certain members of this board, you are merely using that statement as a smokescreen for your personal attacks against the people you THINK were involved. Notice I stressed think, because you have no clue as to who really did it.

And you and arth and others can spend all day calling them names and baiting them and mocking them and ridiculing them -- and all you are doing is destroying this board. Not them -- the board.

As for how I will be voting ... well I haven't decided IF I will bother. I truly don't believe it matters, one way or the other. I think a lot of you are just using the subject as an excuse to push your set of agendas, nothing more (and not just you -- it seems to be the current trend here, these days). If I do vote, it really isn't anyones business how I vote. Notice I haven't gone around asking people how they plan to vote or have voted, and I certainly have not been baiting people for a certain response -- and I won't be beating people up with my YES or NO opinions anytime in the forseeable future.

jmspaesq, quite a bit of vitiol on the board today given that we had a surprisingly good day.

I believe Jim gave you a little latitude (to post on the options issue) when you showed up several wks ago a little late to the party. Have you taken advantage of Jim's gesture?

I'm asking because it seems to me you've posted more on the subject since your return than anyone else pro or con (not counting total words).

thatListen: we are ALL tired of this issue and the constant drumbeat--and that is not coming from the YES camp. I don't see anyone from the YES camp trying to persuade others to vote YES--just saying why THEY are voting YES

So, you're saying that all your impassioned pro 2 words were not intended to persuade others cause you usually included you disclaimer? I won't say you're being disingenuous, but I do think it's time to get a bigger shovel.

If you reply please keep it to two paragraphs cause I ain't got the time nor wherewithal to read more.
