They could have the bomb and not have the bomb, imo. Why? Because once you have the needed enriched uranium, the rest would be east for Iran to complete. They could well have all the parts to assemble a bomb, but it isn't a bomb until need do so. Iran can say they don't have the bomb, and be technically telling the truth, while in fact to could complete the assembly in short order. The key the bomb is the creation of necessary enriched uranium, which can't be done with ahuge array of centrifuges, refining and refing and refing and refining, until get the amount of nuclear explosive power. TEHRAN, Apr. 7 (MNA) -- After the successful “Great Prophet” (S) military maneuvers in the Persian Gulf, Defense Minister Mostafa Mohammad Najjar said Thursday that Iran possesses even more advanced weapons which it will exhibit in the near future. “The modern (military) equipment used in the war games was (only) a small part of the Iranian Armed Forces’ capabilities,” he said of the war games which began March 31 and ended April 6 in the Strait of Hormuz.
The Islamic Republic satisfies its defensive needs using the creativity of its own experts, he replied when asked about rumors that the equipment tested in the war games was not domestically manufactured.
He also said that the imposition of sanctions on Iran would not have any influence on Iran’s defense capabilities.
Meanwhile, the commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), Brigadier General Yahya Rahim Safavi, said that the maneuvers demonstrated that Iran is ready to defend its independence, national interests, and the achievements of the Islamic Revolution.
He told reporters on Thursday that in the last phase of the maneuver staged on Thursday morning, some 1250 naval vessels, including submarines, as well as various types of military planes and helicopters were used.
Safavi stated that training exercises of the Iranian Armed Forces pose no threat to neighboring countries, adding that Iran regards none of its neighbors as a threat to its territorial integrity.
He went on to say that foreign forces’ vessels and their intelligence networks in the Persian Gulf and Oman Sea closely monitored the military capabilities of the Iranian forces, and he expressed hope that they had grasped the situation.
He also said that the security of the Persian Gulf and the Islamic Republic of Iran are intertwined, adding that the foreign forces in the region will not be able to keep themselves out of harm’s way in any possible state of insecurity in Iran.
Safavi expressed hope that security would be restored to the Persian Gulf through a complete withdrawal of foreign forces from the region, saying that the Persian Gulf should be a region of lasting peace and security since that would benefit all countries because their life and industry is dependent on the energy resources of the region.
Meanwhile, the commander of the IRGC Navy, Rear Admiral Morteza Saffari, said on Thursday that the recent maneuver was a symbol of Iran’s sovereignty and defensive preparedness.

He added, "Our enemies suddenly opened their eyes and noticed that we had achieved those high peaks of sciences and technology. "
Furthermore, Fars News Agency reported that, in city of Mashhad, Ahmadinejad said "They (West) know for sure that they cannot deprive the Iranian nation of its right by exerting political pressure." He also made it clear that the Iranian government will not retreat even an inch from the nation's rights.
Yesterday, the daily Jomhuri-ye Eslami reported that, Gholamreza Aqhazadeh, the head of Iran's Atomic Energy Organization, said there are good news on Iran’s nuclear activities underway.
Today, Paykeiran News site reported that, one of Iran’s representative in parliament in an interview with Iran news have said that in next two or three days, Ahmadinejad will say that Iran have achieved the uranium enrichment at 3.5 percent which this achievement allow Iran to enter in the club of nuclear fuel countries. The 3.5 percent, a level good enough for fueling nuclear reactors but specially meaning that the country has mastered the full nuclear cycle.
