If paying $50-100K as opposed to millions in legal fees is winning I guess you can say the DEFENDANTS actually won. At any rate pulling in average $100k settlements is not going to ever be a "win" for shareholders. It is a win for Fred Falk and the lawyers though! Be happy for them they have made an entire career of it and will retire well off.

Win a settlement? Extort is the more
appropriate term, imo, given the M.O. thus far.

Settlements are agreed to and "won" by the plaintiff so that the defendants "don't have to continue with litigation".

This statement is a perfect expression of the goal of a patent extortionist, which is to file meritless lawsuits and get defendants to pay cheap settlements.

If defendants pay the extortion (settlement) in a meritless patent infringement lawsuit in order to avoid MUCH higher costs of defense, a patent extortionist considers it a "win" no matter how low the settlement.

Congratulations to Fred Falk and Handal & Associates for so many cheap settlement "wins" -- 22 in FYE 3/31/14!

Unfortunately the EDIG share price tanked during those all those "wins."
