Thanks Jim, You are right...it is not worth it.

The sooner we all finally open our eyes and ears regarding this investment the better off we will all be, the company included.

Here is the post of the week, IMO...

Jimlur: You asked IDCC IR if what happened last Wednesday affected their opinion of the IHUB Board and IDCC said "no". But did you ever apologize on behalf of most of us??

If not, go ahead and pull that pin. I'll respect that.

JimLur, if you do go your own way, I just want to say thank you for all of the different boards you have created throughout the years and the incredible experience it has been!

Jim,

I'd hate to see you go. I really appreciate all that you've done to bring this group together.

Start a new board and share the responsibility of maintianing it with others.

This one is getting too much like Yahoo!

Thanks,

Jeff

Amen, Jim....I have pretty much quit posting and don't even like to read here anymore as the board has taken on a hateful tone.Honestly 90% of the posters here are adding nothing and even the "most popular" have become detrimental and nothing but a group taking sides. That is not what this is about. We are here to share ideas and opinions and the lack of tolerance by many has raised the back hair of so many and torn the positives off this board. Its too bad because I have learned more on this board regarding my dd on IDCC than any other source. Hope we weather this storm and get things back on track...All of you posting 99% of these posts should just go away...or shut up

JimLur: Take a Break if You Need, BUT

Don't go!

I just got back!

Plus: we're running together as part of a slate for BOD next year!

This board wouldn't be the same without your voice of reason and moderation and civility.

Take a break if you need to but don't even think of going.

If after a break you still feel the same way, then you have to do what you have to do and I think everyone would understand and respect that--and be terribly dissapointed too.

But please don't make any permanent decision until you've had a chance to think it over and get some perspective after some time away.

Based on my experiences in life and on the net, that would be my advice.

And based on my experiences on the net, I have to say that the IDCC board/community/family IS one of the best sites on the net, YES like any family sometimes there are fights and sometimes it can be a bit dysfunctional. But in the final analysis the overwhelming majority of people here are great--informative, intelligent, a collection of various expertise, fun and funny.

I have the perspective of having been away and coming back and honestly I feel like it is a home and Thomas Wolfe was wrong in saying that you can't go home again.

Don't let a few bad apples ruin this beautiful orchard for you.

But do what you have to in the end--just think it is a good idea to take some deep breaths away from the board before making any such decision.

As most of you know, I don't follow every message posted on this board, or the site. It's simply too much. I rely heavily on TOS reports and messages sent to me via PM. However, things seemed much calmer and civilized when I was enforcing a very heavy hand on this board for about two weeks. If I need to, I'll go back to that. Everything seemed good for a while.

I haven't read what has caused the ruckus, but based on past experience, it seems that emotions run a little too high regarding this stock. Maybe some of you need to step back for a moment. This is a pretty darn good forum and I'd hate to see it destroyed by a couple of people throwing insults around at your friends.

Jim, if you feel I need to go back to reading every message I will. I'd hate to lose you. Or if there is a better way to handle this, let me know.

MB

Edit: I've sent you a suggestion privately that we could do, that'd probably fix the wagon.

Jim- Please stay involved. All- Let's get back to information and substance. Controversy is good but let's put the vitriol behind us. The ASM will be over in a couple of weeks and we will all be friends again. In the long run, people and relationships matter more than anything. Jim, I appreciate your leadership of our thread for many years. Please stay with us.

Re: Boogie's comment- in our situation IMO, I would rather own a $100 stock that is actually trading at $100, not trading at $50 due to 50% dilution! This is the real situation we have with IDCC and if measure 2 passes, our $100 stock will actually trade at $40 due to dilution!!!
