That sounds hilarious to me..! A company like Microsoft entering into an agreement with a company, giving them the use of their patented technology to sell a gadget from which they will get a percentage of the sale and not doing a DD on their new "partner"..? Hard to swallow it... ! IMO

I wrote to Mary Jo Foley, as well, when the article first came out. Her reply was shorter but still bascially the same thing.

Her exact response was :
