Panik was one of the original 29 who became part of DFI back in late 1999 early 2000. Actually Larry Panik was the founder of DFMI in 2000 not 2002 as you claim; There is documentation that proves this!!. Tell me what you think about it. Keep in mind over 50 people received this email from him:
LLOLs We had to undo the DFI situation due to bad legal advise and formed DFMI. (DFI was taken anyway outside of California and would have caused confusion). DFMI was formed as a California C Corp. and we started doing business as DFMI.Sounds like you are still causing confusion by not taking advise and getting a legal document that shows the DFI-DFMI merger. All I read is an excerpt from an email which proves nothing and didn't you already scorn Robin Haskins and now you rely on this story written in this incomplete email?. Nice try, keep spinning your story!!.. TMMI TRUDEF moves onward and upward Worldwide!!. FYI: The following table illustrates these three (3) groups of investors based upon their respective investments:
Group
Amount of Capital Raised
Venture Capitalists
$1,300,000 (approximately)
First Group
$263,000
Second Group
$312,000
Total
$1,875,000
Although these three (3) groups of people were issued stock certificate receipts from Digital Focus Media, Inc. Dr. Panik's concern regarding the sale of the TMM stock in 1999 related to independent expert information that he (among others) would need to restate their 1999 Federal and State Tax Returns to account for the sale of those shares when an expert (working for Mr. Simpson) originally told him that the event was not taxable. Seems your dates are off for DFMI!!.
