Simpson was the incorporator of DFMI, not Panik. Panik was on the initial board of directors but resigned around September 2000 and a few years later rejoined the board of DFMI as Chairman until 2007. Was Panik one of the DFMI "founders"? Yes, the term founder usually refers to the initial group in any company so that would include Panik and 30 others. I know titles seem to confuse you but Chairman of the Board is not the same as President or CEO.
Do I scorn Haskin? Yes, and Simpson and Fernandez as well. They are all crooks as you well know but even a broken clock is right twice a day. Keep in mind that Simpson is pretty much the only witness tmm has for their case, how sad is that? But they have to use what BS he makes up now and yes he will say anything you pay him to say. But the other side will use his written and signed statements from 14 years ago that its too late to change, as well as court papers from 2002-3. Which would you rather use?
Like I said, Simpson's email is just one of dozens of similar documents already on file at the court, including Board of Directors minutes. The likelihood however is that the jury will decide that challenging a 14 year old contract is waaay too far outside the statute of limitations anyway.
